I've been having the same issue all of a sudden starting a few days ago using a mac running El Capitan.  It seem like it's trying to use to change configuration of a thunderbolt network adaptor rather than the regular network settings that it adjusts.  Any help you can provide would be appreciated.  I even uninstalled the client and downloaded and installed a fresh version and it did not resolve.

So, apparently you think we can identify your problems and find a solution at first sight if you just write "x doesn't work" without additional information. I want to see you solving issues in this fashion.

 

A few of you wrote I'm on El Capitan, but is it true for everyone who contributed to this topic? Please edit your posts, giving us at least OS and client versions. Logfiles will of course be best.

I can tell you this:  I use El Capitan with AirVPN's client every day and I've never experienced this.  It must be something that can be fixed with settings (I'm still using the default "automatic" protocol settings, but it always picks UDP 443 for me, both at home and work).  It probably is an MTU issue.
