V.P. 0 Posted ... Hi Folks, I'm relatively new to using VPN's and I am having trouble with the Eddie and Windows 10(build 10240), I would be grateful if anyone has any advice to offer. When I select a server and click on the "Connect to the selected server now", it starts to install the tunnel driver however I then get the message "Driver Installation Failed". Previous VPN's I have used, utilised the VPN connection utility in windows so I'm wondering where I'm going wrong. Many ThanksV.P. Quote Share this post Link to post

Earful8 8 Posted ... This is a Windows 10 TH2 update issue (big update in November). Close the AirVPN client (Eddie)Uninstall the OpenVPN TUN/TAP driver from Control PanelReboot into safemodeInstall the official OpenVPN driver from here (https://openvpn.net/index.php/open-source/downloads.html) select Installer (NDIS 6)And then boot back into windows by restarting That's how I worked around it.
