tor &vpn for noob

ok, so i can connect to tor (only using the tor browser)

&

i can connect to airvpn, using the client and firefox...

 

so....

 

i have read about tor over vpn & vpn over tor...whats the difference??

 

 

now when i select 'tor' for connection in the air vpn client.....and run tor client also....

 

should i use the tor browser now to surf? or firefox?

 

will i be in theory going through the tor network and through airvpn.....so in theory being extra secure/anonymous?
