LazyLizard14 11 Posted ... I just reserved some ports (not remapped) here in the client area. My router is running pfsense set up pretty much according to the guide found in the forums here. On that router I have set up a port forward (not remapped) for the OpenVPN interface in the way shown here: https://community.spiceworks.com/how_to/113021-port-forward-nat-with-pfsenseA test always results in error 111.What am I doing wrong? go558a83nk 364 Posted ... is the router running as openvpn client as well? if so, you'll need to forward from TUN device to LAN device not WAN to LAN. if router is NOT running openvpn then no need to open ports at all on router and it can actually be a security hazard. in this case make sure your server is actually listening on the port AirVPN assigned for the forward and that there is no software firewall blocking. LazyLizard14 11 Posted ... The OpenVPN client is running on the pfsense machine. The port forwarding is set up like seen in the screenshot. A linked rule for the firewall has been created as well. Quote Share this post Link to post
go558a83nk 364 Posted ... I don't use pfsense so I'm not familiar with the screenshot. Just need to makes sure, then, that you're forwarding from the TUN device of the router to LAN. Quote Share this post Link to post
