On straight talk and not so unlimited data plans

My "unlimited data plan" from straight talk is throttled. Would air vpn prevent this throttling?

if their throttling depends on port/protocol then perhaps.  if you're talking a general throttle because you've already reached a certain data usage threshold then no.

The throttle is for all data traffic. I have no idea how to test if it is a certain port or not. I know that people get arround data restrictions with tethering... But I have no idea what it is like for any other situation... Or where to contact the tethering hackers..
