Can connect to my wifi printer even though I'm on AirVpn

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone,

Hopefully the issue is posted in the right section.

So I'm currently using AirVpn for quite some time now on Windows 10. I always have the network lock active.

Today I've installed my wireless printer on the network, the normal one through my router without the VPN.

The problem I have isn't that I can't connect to it, it's actually the exact opposite. I can actually connect and print pages while I'm connect with AirVpn and with the network lock active.

So that  arose some questions about  the privacy of my connection and how secure it might be.

I was just wondering if  this is something normal that I should expect, or if not what would be the steps to actually secure completely the connection.

For information the pc is connected to the router via the ethernet and not wifi.

Thanks in advance
