Whether I choose a server or choose to be connected to a recommended server, the software fails to connect, times out and gives up eventually.  WTH?!?!? 

 

So what's the solution?  I'm sure I'm not the only one to have gone through this.  (Very annoying.)

I'm not a staff member, but I felt bad when I saw this was your first and only forum post and you hadn't had a reply. Sorry about that.

 

What operating system do you have? Meaning, is it Windows (XP? Vista? 7? 8? 8.1? 10 preview? etc), Linux, OS X, BSD, etc? It could be an issue with a firewall or antivirus on Windows, possibly, or some kind of routing screw up. Has it ever worked before for you? Finally, have you changed any of the settings in the program? This can have an impact, especially if you choose certain DNS settings under Linux or BSD.

 

You'd be best placed submitting a ticket in the client area, where Staff will receive it directly. I'll try to help you if I can however.
