The routing between the two goes via US which uncessarily quadruples latency.

 

Secondly Hadar seems quite unreliable regularly losing connection with various failures like

 

  "Checking authorization ..., 8° try failed (Error: NameResolutionFailure)",

  "Updating systems & servers data ..., 8° try failed (Error: NameResolutionFailure)",

  "Updating systems & servers data ..., 8° try failed (The request timed out)".

 

It was the same with Eddie 2.4 and now with Eddie 2.6.

 

No issues with other servers or line outages.

for me (living in Thailand), routing to Antares also goes through USA, then to Singapore.

 

I've seen another ISP in country that has fine routing to Antares. 

 

However, I've also tested routing to Antares via a VPN gateway in Bangkok, a third ISP, if you will, and it also has terrible routing to Antares.  My impression is that Leaseweb's datacenter in Sg isn't well connected.

Both Asian servers don't work too well for me in Japan.

 

The California servers are the fastest, but the NL servers are the most solid overall.
