UK servers appearing to be Portuguese?

When I'm logged into a UK server, and I visit an IP Checker website, often it'll show me as browsing from Portugal. But my 'web experience' is still that of someone browsing from the UK.

 

I think I first noticed this a few months ago. It's not a problem for me especially, but I'm curious as to the reason behind this.

Yeah just make sure your real ip is never showing up. I'm from USA using USA servers and always shows me from Netherlands on torrent ip checker. This is a good thing.

Your IP address is Portugese, however AirVPN applies DNS hopping which allows them to mask your location for certain websites.
