Yahoo.com rejects email from Castor

Recommended Posts

Hi, it seems someone is abusing Castor for spam, because when I sent (a single) email while I was connected to Castor, Yahoo rejected my message and returned this error:

"All messages from x.x.x.x permanently deferred" when sending email to Yahoo. This message indicates Yahoo is seeing a high volume of emails from your IP address, which is a characteristic of unsolicited, bulk emailing.

When I logged onto another AirVPN server in another country, sending the email worked.

Quote from here.

I wouldn't classify it as spam right away but it's possible.

I think the problem is that we don't have actual numbers (or it's just me ): How many mails are necessary to be sent and how long is the time span in which the system is counting those mails? Maybe it's just the mass of VPN users who sent a number of emails in one unholy time span.

But as I wrote before, I'm not neglecting the possibility.
