Are you a Secureserver customer - or how did you discover this?

 

I don't even know if this topic is suitable for being posted on the blocked websites forum since the majority of subdomains of secureserver.net are reachable with a browser (Tauri, DE). You are describing problems with pinging their email services and this could be temporary..

Except for godaddy.com. Are you able to reach their website with your browser through Keid, NL?

Not necessarily, secureserver.net is godaddy. A friend of mine has a website hosted by godaddy (secureserver.net) and I am unable to reach it from Castor, Grafias & Keid (NL) with http or ICMP.

but this looks like an issue around cogentco. Yesterday it might have been more of a leaseweb issue.

Also experienced intermittent (the 25th and this morning) name resolution issues from Dorsum & Ophiuchi (NL) but I opened a ticket for that. Couldn't find anything on their end.

I am having a similar issue - but it's not on all secureserver.net situations.

 

I can access email and the normal web hosting control panel, but I'm trying a new CPanel host and I can't connect to it.

 

When I launch CPanel from the godaddy hosting, I am sent to https://p3plcpnl0358.prod.phx3.secureserver.net:2083 - and the web browser cannot connect.

 

I tried to telnet to the server/port, and recieved a "connection refused" message.

 

The support staff at GoDaddy assure me that it's my VPN causing the problem, but I'm skeptical about that.

 

What can I do to get back to GoDaddy and "Gibbs-Smack" 'em?

I just realized that it's useful to know that I am connected to Andromedae
