Preventing an issue with Network Lock

I have read about users having issues with Network Lock being disabled but not allowing an internet connection outside AirVpn.

 

If I create a Windows 10 System Restore Point, enable Network Lock, and have an issue with Network Lock not disabling correctly to allow a connection could I perform a System Restore to undo any changes done by Network Lock?

 

Do I need to exit Eddie to deactivate Network Lock?   I really do not have that option since exiting Eddie on my system prevents me from connecting to AirVpn again unless I reboot.  That is another issue which I can manage.
