Connected to UK server but PC still thinks I'm in home country (not UK)

Can anyone help please?

I'm using airvpn to connect specifically to a UK server and it says I am connected, everything seems well, but when I try to access any UK specific websites it won't allow me as it says I am outside of the UK.

I've tried a few different UK servers but always with the same result and have tried a few different UK websites as well. 

 

Anyone have a similar problem / know how to fix?

Some more information might be useful. What OS are you using on your PC, which VPN client software?
