ANSWERED Cannot connect to any servers

Whenever I try and connect to a server, I get the error "The remote name could not be resolved 'server name'".

I've found that I can sometimes fix this by restarting my DHCP client, but it doesn't work every time.

 

I've also been reading some forum posts that say this can be a DNS issue. I have changed my DNS settings to their instructions and haven't noticed any difference.

 

I'd really appreciate a permanent solution, it's very frustrating to not be able to use this sometimes.

 

I'm also on the Eddie experimental version.

Simply switch to stable DNS servers. Consider using one of these:

http://servers.opennicproject.org/

I actually didn't realise that the Eddie client set the DNS servers, I was changing it on the tap driver adapter before, so turns out that was the problem. Problem solved, I should have checked the settings more thoroughly.
