  1. linux mint 17.3 (fresh install) ​router DNS is not used i have no DNS addresses set up in my wired connection i do not know how the modem is configured since the ISP has the interfaces locked i'm not running the Air client, nor do i wish to, and i see that some domains are being blocked by OpenDNS - i am aware that Air uses it's own name-servers, so i am wondering why they are not working in my case? ​ ​ipleak.net showed i was using OpenDNS, which was set in my router - after dumping those address in the router config, it now shows me as using Google DNS servers - i have no idea how this is possible ​in my connection properties (GUI) on the IPv4 and IPv6 tabs, the 'Method' is set to 'Automatic' and no DNS addresses are present
