This is probably common knowledge for most but I still couldn't find a reliable source to verify this. Let's assume I'm not worried about somebody being able to intercept/read the contents of my traffic but only the fact that my identity (IP) cannot be detected. Now, if I turn cipher off completely (none) would I still be protected in that regard? And as a follow-up question will AirVPN allow me to set cipher to none on the client side without overriding it from the server side? Background: I do have some low powered devices and want to allow them maximum throughput without sacrificing to give up my identity. What is going through those packets though I'm not worried about, it's not really confidential. I hope my question makes sense and thank you for your support in advance

I would love to one day see Threefish-256 as an option. I think 512 and 1024 bits would only congest the servers too much, but 256 bits should be easy enough. In addition, I think Serpent is a very good option at 256 bits. Tiger is a great hash, but is currently only 160 bits plus the HMAC. So it is less desirable compared to SHA2-256 If there is a wishlist, I was unable to find it. I would appreciate a link to the thread if one exists. And I most certainly welcome discussion. Thanks in advance.

I'd love to see twofish, threefish, serpent and skein offered. I understand your trepidation with ECC completely. I'd also like to see xor support added as well. Your service is top notch and as linux user I am very pleased with your new gui client with all of great options available. Keep us in the loop plz
