uTorrent continues downloading after disconnecting from VPN

I am using COMODO but whenever I disconnect from the VPN, uTorrent continues downloading. I used the instuctions on the forum to setup the rule and I don't have any DNS leaks. Is this normal and if so does anyone know any rules I can apply to block uTorrent if the VPN disconnects unexpectedly?
