Newbie questions about paying with bitcoins

I'm having trouble figuring out how to purchase a sub with bitcoins. I want to pay cash for the bitcoins. I've never done this and am confused. I hope someone can enlighten me. Here's what I've done so far.

I went to bitcoincodes and clicked the sub I want to buy. I got an address, which I have saved.

I set up a wallet at blockchain.info.

What do I do next? Do I find a local trader or are there local stores that sell bitcoins? (I read somewhere online that CVS and Duane Reade do, but that seems unlikely. Can I got to a store or do I have to find a guy? Yes, I know I am hopelessly naive.)

I'm guessing that the last steps are that the seller will "deposit" the bitcoins in my wallet and then I send them to the address I got from bitcoincodes. Is that correct?
