vamivo 2 Posted ... Hi, I came across AirVPN and I wanted to ask whether it is possible in their Windows app (Eddie) (Split tunneling ) to exclude an IPv4 address so that this IP is not routed through the VPN. I would really appreciate a response and I hope I’m in the right thread. 1 alikhanalipubg reacted to this Quote Share this post Link to post

vamivo 2 Posted ... Hi, thank you very much for your quick reply. I have one more question: How do I activate the Kill Switch? Thank you. 1 alikhanalipubg reacted to this Quote Share this post Link to post
JesusxSaves 3 Posted ... If you can use another application with a Airvpn Wireguard config, i recommend to have a look at WireSock ( https://www.wiresock.net/ ). It is miles better for split-tunneling. Per IP, per application, per folder, anything is possible. -kind regards 1 alikhanalipubg reacted to this Quote Share this post Link to post

There is no kill switch, only Network Lock which is a set of firewall rules meant to prevent all traffic outside the VPN. A kill switch reacts to a failed connection which can or cannot happen; firewall rules are just sitting there, blocking everything, so this approach is superior. You dont't need to be doing anything special to enable NetLock – it's engaged by default when you connect. To check, look to the top right corner of Eddie's window: If the lock is locked, so is the network. Quote Hide Tech Jedi Alex's signature Hide all signatures NOT AN AIRVPN TEAM MEMBER.
