Recommended/proven solution for my specific setup

Hi there,

I know there are similar questions like this, but I wanted to hear some opinions about my specific setup.

I got an NAS here that runs transmission torrent. It also runs other services, so I can't just put the whole NAS into the VPN from within my router configuration.

I was thinking about setting up OpenVPN on the NAS and then binding transmission to an IP and then binding that IP to the VPN interface (because transmission can't bind to an interface directly from what I hear).

Is this a good way? Does someone have a better solution to this? Any experience?
