ANSWERED Eddie & VM Oracle in Windows 10

Recommended Posts

Hi, I’ve got a problem: Oracle VirtualBox only offers the wired network interface and the Wi-Fi interface when I select ‘BRIDGE’ when creating a VM, Eddie hasn’t seen this.
A few years ago, I solved this problem by enabling tap-windows6, but with this version of Eddie, the driver change isn’t taken into account…
Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks

Hardware: Oracle/Debian virtual machine running on a Windows 10 machine with AirVPN
I wanted all outgoing traffic from the VM to go through AirVPN rather than the ‘normal’ network
The VM is in ‘Bridge’ mode so that it has an IP address accessible via SSH on the private network
With only one network adapter on the VM, it was impossible to configure this; Oracle couldn’t see the Eddie interface, hence my question on this forum

I found the solution by configuring the first network adapter in bridge mode to access the local network and the second adapter in NAT mode to access the internet, but this time via Eddie
