Incredibly slow speed on unraid

Hello!

My unraid server has been going for a good whille and i had to reboot it.
The vpn connection worked fined for a week ish and had about 30-30MBps in download. 
But all of a sudden i see that max i get is 212KB/s.
I've read a lot about the mtu and that you have to change it? i have tried everthing from 1320 to 1420 and the best i got was 1MB/s with 1411. 
Does anyone know a fix for this?

Yes i have tried multiple and different mtu's again.
with a different vpn i get expected 30-40MBps 
now i get about 203KB/s with airvpn, never had issues for a year.
do you have a recommended mtu?
