yoyall   8 Posted ... I've been a longtime qBittorrent user on Windows. But I'm now migrating to macOS. I was going to go qBittorrent again but their site says it's "barely supported". I could try it on macOS and see how I get on but then maybe it's time to try Transmission or something else...just got me thinking... 🤔 So, I wanted to reach out for any current torrent client recommendations for macOS.  Thanks for any advice or steer. Oilers   2 Posted ... Absolutely stay with qbittorrent. It still functions perfectly well on MacOS, and you can still bind it to the VPN to avoid leaks which you cannot do with other clients. 1 yoyall reacted to this Quote Share this post Link to post

Tommie   8 Posted ... Long-time Mac user here. Years ago I thought of Transmission as a decent entry-level plug-and-play BT app, which it indeed was. If all you needed was limited functionality/configurability it was fine. But today, according to numerous user complaints, it's buggy and there's virtually no support whatsoever. User requests for support go unanswered, as do requests for new features. IOW Transmission is dead and has been for several years. qBittorrent performs consistently well, is feature-rich, highly configurable, well-supported and receives regular updates.
