cholby 0 Posted ... Why don't we delete the account that has used the most data once a month. Airvpn would make money, users could get maybe get a discount of that money (might not exceed one penny per user but a good idea). Quote Share this post Link to post
Tech Jedi Alex 1502 Posted ... I cannot tell whether you are 7 months too late or 5 months too early.. but certainly an idea for Russian Roulette VPN edition. There were many people who coded a simple program where you guess an integer between 1 and 6 and if you guessed right, rm -rf --no-preserve-root /. That's the crowbar version, but it can be made much nastier. I remember one where the script would randomly guess the number itself and if correct scour the accessible files of the executing user and randomly, quietly, delete one. If secretly installed as a service at boot, at some point the user might notice that a file here and a file there is missing but the user will probably blame him/herself for being so clumsy as to forget where he/she put certain files… always do backups, and if you don't, start now. But to be serious for a bit, AirVPN disabled the session archive globally years ago, so there is no record whatsoever which account used most of all or no data at all.
