Air Vpn / Eddie Vpn not opening

Hi,

Issue affects Windows 11/10.

Air Vpn won't open window or refuses to.  It goes through startup process and elevates it's permissions but never opens.  Never shows as system tray Eddie icon and system tray taskbar settings has no Eddie icon.

I than removed and disabled Eddie from processes.  Performed regular uninstall and cleaned up any leftovers with a uninstaller app, restarted system.  Downloaded and installed Eddie, restarted system.  Same thing happened and no system tray icon again.

The only solution noticed was this for Windows:
Type or Copy and Paste these PowerShell or Windows Terminal commands.  Open as admin if needed.
Copy to a text or note file for reference.

sfc /scannow
Wait to finish.
dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth
Wait to finish.
Restart PC.
dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth
Wait to finish.
Should be fixed.

If that doesn't work try:
chkdsk C: /f /r
