Ricnvolved1956 51 Posted ... Alright folks, I'm not a newbie, but not tech savvy either. I have a 2024 Mac Mini with an Apple M4 Chip, and just updated MacOS to Tahoe 26.0. I have downloaded the newest version of Eddie, 2.24.6 but I am unable to connect to any server. The first time I tried, it repeatedly went through the motion of connecting but then disconnect after a countdown of 3, 2, 1 sec. So I logged out of Eddie and then logged back in. I tried connecting to a server with no luck. However, this time I got a message above the Eddie window that said, "Exception: Rules Not Loaded". I have no idea what to do. All assistance will of course be greatly appreciated. THANK YOU! robertoohoho 4 Posted ... Sorry for the late answer, but have you tried Eddie 2.21.8? It works fine for me. 2.24.6 crashes at startup on a M1 mac on Tahoe and is very unstable on an Intel Mac under Ventura : it activates network lock when not asked ; disconnects a lot, then gets in a loop trying to unsuccessfully connect to every server then refuses to quit.
