Is an audit still off the table ?

Recommended Posts

I’ve read several times that AirVPN refused to undergo an audit back in 2022. I’d like to know if that’s still the case today. Honestly, AirVPN feels as close to perfect as a VPN can get: the speeds are excellent, port forwarding is a huge advantage, and I have no complaints overall.

The only thing missing, in my view, is solid proof that no logs are being kept. I understand that an audit only confirms the "no-logs" policy at a given point in time, but it’s still the most concrete proof we can realistically get. The other possible "proof" would be a court case where AirVPN is compelled to hand over logs and fails to do so, which I’d actually consider even stronger evidence than an audit. But of course, that could take a long time to happen.
