LionOfOrange 0 Posted ... Hi, I was also trying to get VPN working on iOS and saw this thread. Since I had some problems I thought mentioning my experiences here will help other people. After I have selected multiple servers I see a ZIP file in Safari but it turned out that the only thing I could do is clicking on a button called 'Open in dropbox'. However Dropbox can't read zipfiles! Since there seemed to be no alternative; these are the steps to get the links working: - Upload the zip to Dropbox - Go to your pc/mac and download the zip locally from your Dropbox account (web or local application) - Unpack the zip and upload the files back to Dropbox - Back on your iOS device: go to Dropbox app - Click on a file: it opens it in a text viewer. Not what we want however on the bottom-right there is an icon - Click on this icon and it shows the 'open in OpenVPN' - Click to open the file in OpenVPN - Do this for all links I also went back and choose just one server. This time it doesn't generate a zip but just the opvn file. Now my options are 'open with...' and 'open with OpenVPN': so there is no "Open in AirDisk Pro" as mentioned in the howto on airvpn.org. When you choose 'open with openVPN' it will import it in the openVPN app. Now your file(s) is/are in the OpenVPN app but they are not imported yet so, click in OpenVPN app on the + icon for importing the file (importing takes 5 secs). There will be one server active even if there are more then 1 files imported. Clicking on the servername gives the possibility to choose another server. Swipe the switch to get your VPN connection. The field Disconnected will change to Connected. Clicking on the field shows to login logging. Note: it seems you can't be logged in at the same server twice so if you have an authorisation error this can be the problem (if you're logged via pc/mac also) Quote Share this post Link to post
