Stack of computer parts 9 Posted ... I have a website that is currently blocking all airvpn servers if you try and log in with the vpn on (this also seems to be ALL vpn servers from other providers). Usually when they do this I can deactivate network lock and the vpn connection so that I can log in, Then I reactivate network lock and vpn to continue using the website. However there seems to be some sort of quirk with Firefox where if I have the networklock+vpn on open Firefox and begin browsing, and then turn the networklock+vpn off but leave Firefox open, I cannot connect to anything via Firefox until I restore networklock+vpn connection. The same is true if I start using Firefox on cleanrnet and then toggle the networklock+vpn on. The only way to reset Firefox when this occurs is if i close it and reopen it. Unfortunately this clears my session with the website I am trying to log into, forcing me to use it entirely on clearnet. Other programs I use seem to survive these networklock resets just fine. This is also a recent problem between eddie and firefox, I have used this workarond many times over the years. I am curious if anyone has encountered this before? Is there a setting in Firefox or eddie i can toggle to make everything more aware of firewall rule changes? I am on Archlinux, eddie-ui-git, nftables (iptables-nft). I have also tried standard iptables with no effect. Quote Share this post Link to post
