Link with non private payment methods

hi, does anyone know how the link between the airvpn account and paypal or card payment look like? is any info about it kept? i've read the privacy notice but i don't understand how is the payment registered, if "any data the users give to such companies are not under Air control and are not stored or treated by Air"

AirVPN only links your payment to your account through a random token from the processor, not your real billing data. PayPal or your bank keeps the personal info on their end and AirVPN just gets a yes-or-no confirmation so they can activate time on your account. Kinda like how I use https://acupowererp.com/acumatica/project-accounting to track project stuff without exposing private details across systems
