I think the owner once said he's had a lot of problems with people posting stuff outside of what is considered socially acceptable.  then the same people report them to authorities over these bad posts to get them shut down, and when he blocked Israeli IPs it was mostly eliminated.  i bet they're all using vpns now.

it does say the site allows vpn if you're logged in with a pro account.  its marginally better than a full block.
