bunhill 0 Posted ... I am on windows 11, this is my first real issue with Eddie VPN. It suddenly was unable to open, so I uninstalled and reinstalled (the x64 one), restarted, and this problem is still happening. When I try to open it, it is just stuck on whats in the screenshot below. It is not open in the app 'bay' thing, but task manager says it is open (it says 'Eddie - Windows UI'). I've tried ending task and reopening but that causes the same thing in the screenshot. Has anyone had this / knows what to do? It's always been fine up until now, and I haven't changed anything to my knowledge. I'm not that savvy so I might have missed something obvious. Help is appreciated, thank you! OpenSourcerer 1447 Posted ... Which version did you install and from where? Did you try a reboot (not shutdown + startup)? When you tro to launch it again, it says alredy running, but cant access ui, it is not in applications tab list. It only shows on taks manager that it is running. Quote Share this post Link to post

As you can hopefully surmise, your problem is completely different (OP always showing the splash when starting vs. you being said explicitly that it's already running). Open your own thread providing as much info as possible, give info on what you tried, link to relevant threads, etc., but don't hijack the threads of others. De Facto Pantalones 13 Posted ... try unpacking newest eddie.exe with 7zip. Install TAP adapter from extracted files. Reboot. Then try installing Eddie from your unpacked .exe. Can you connect? If no, reboot again. I've had issues with the TAP adapter (maybe you're not using TAP). Otherwise, kill Eddie Process Tree as Admin using Process Explorer (kill anything Eddie/Air/OpenVPN related), then re-open Eddie. https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/downloads/process-explorer Quote Share this post Link to post
