Connection problems on iPhone 14 Plus & iPhone 15

My apologies if this topic has already been addressed. If it has been, someone on the AirVPN technical support can steer me where I need to go. I have already formally contacted Air technical staff about the problem

For some time now I have been having real difficulties establishing a connection on my iPhone 14 Plus and iPhone 15. I am very careful to always update all software for OpenVPN and Apple iOS as soon as I'm notified of software updates. It makes no difference which VPN server I connect to. To be more specific, making a connection isn't as difficult as MAINTAINING the connection. The disconnect seems to happen totally at random with absolutely no notification. I don't know there is a disconnect until I actively check. (On a side note, Apple *REALLY* needs to provide the option of having the VPN icon visible all the time in the top right hand corner of the home screen for their iPhones. That way the user can more easily see whether the phone is connected.)

Anyway, I would like to know if others are experiencing this problem and if there's a fix already available. Thanks to all for any assistance.

are you an iCloud + user where you have private relay enabled which may be conflicting?
