Instant reddit ban the moment I opened the app using VPN

Account is more than 6 months old with a lot of karma. The moment I opened the app with VPN enabled I was instantly logged out with the error account doesn't exist. Not sure what gives. Anyone have any tips on how to navigate reddit without getting banned?

I have been using AirVPN for years now and Reddit is logged in all the time. Your problem is definitely not related with vpn. The only problem is you have to be logged in to Reddit to use it. Otherwise vpn IPs are blocked and you can navigate in Reddit. So try to login with you credentials to Reddit.

Could be that the VPN IP was blacklisted for some previous mischief, I've had account deletions on unreleated sites by using open proxies that had been blacklisted. You might try getting the account back by contacting support if it had something important and use a different server, just tell them you were testing a new VPN with no intention of ban-evading or anything. They might not care still.
