Spoilage8462 0 Posted ... I originally posted this in blocked sites warning, but I think it may be more relevant here. I'll see if I can go back and delete that topic. So, I'm connected to Fang currently. I'm hosting a server that is behind Cloudflare proxy. I've configured the proxy to disallow out-of-country IPs. Here's the weird thing: Cloudflare's block page thinks I'm in Italy. Based on an IP lookup, it's a TOR exit node that it believes I am connected through. I am not using TOR. I'm connected through Air, and every public IP checker I go to (including Cloudflare's own) shows the expected IP - Fang's IP. Any ideas what might be up? Quote Share this post Link to post

3553 0 Posted ... I have the same problem. If the tor service is running in background Cloudflare thinks I'm in the US. I don't know how Cloudflare gets this info. Quote Share this post Link to post
Spoilage8462 0 Posted ... Apologies for the delay here. I never did figure it out. I changed my network up a bit - I put a DNS server (pihole docker container) in the internal network and routed over to it using tailscale. That means I only access through my personal VPN, so it's not on the live net anymore. This won't work if you need others to access your service, of course. Quote Share this post Link to post
