My VPN doesnt download

so i got airvpn today and installed qbittorrent also installed openvpn. i generated a foreforgoing port and inserted it in the torrent client, additionally i inserted a client from different servers from airvpn into openvpn. and after i wanted to download smth the download was 0. what am i doing wrong or a i have to do,  to make it work. Im very new into this so i appreciate any kind of help,
