Eddie not saving my last connected server

Hello, I have checked the option of "Reconnect to last server" in Eddie, but every time (weekly) I restart my computer, it keeps connecting to a server I picked months ago when I first downloaded Eddie, and I have to manually change it to the one I need. 
Is there any other option to force Eddie to connect to a specific server whenever I turn on/restart my computer and Eddie starts up?

OS: Windows 10
Eddie version: 2.21.8

Launch, connect, disconnect, quit. Launch again. Maybe disconnecting is enough, but I don't think the profile is written definitively if not quitting (didn't test).
If you shutdown the computer while the VPN is running, which it sounds like, I believe Eddie is not given time to override the previous profile, so the old profile parameters, with the last connected server from those few months ago, is always used.
Another theory: Your default.profile can be read, but not written.
