VPN being picked up by websites

I used to use AirVPN to stream TSN and Sportsnet streams that are blacklisted in my area. I would log into a Toronto server and be able to stream as their site believed me to be in Yoronto. Now these sites, like many others are detecting the VPN. Is there anyway to bypass this?
