Friction7090 0 Posted ... Greetings. I've been having an issue with eddie for a while now, I tried using the cli version but I can't get it to do the same things I could with the gui, skill issue I'm sure. When the window spawns it seems to be transparent, when I move it it's like moving a photograph, it keeps showing the things that were behind it the moment it spawned. I'm on artix (arch linux fork) and I haven't been able to figure out what's wrong, I tried uninstalling and reinstalling too, no luck. Quote Share this post Link to post

Admittedly, reading the output I did find something missing in gtk but even after installing it I have the same problem, but the output doesn't complain about the missing gtk stuff at least, so it's a bit cleaner. OpenSourcerer 1434 Posted ... I see. At this point I'd ask someone else with a Xfce desktop to test as well. How did you install Eddie? It's not out-of-date, it just tracks the stable releases of which the last was some time ago. But I understand your reasoning, I've got the -git version installed as well.
