CNN video doesn't load (CDN problems?)

CNN.com's videos don't load with airvpn but it does with speedtest's vpn and no vpn. I remember getting as far as figuring out it probably has something to do with their CDNs but that's as far as i got.
Would like to know:
1. how2fix
2. identify when other sites have the same incompatibility
3. any additional info on CDNs
