ANSWERED Linux: Strict settings for ufw so all traffic goes through eddie-ui [in addition to network lock]

Recommended Posts

Hello, again!
I have a PC which always runs AirVPN / eddie-ui, and I am trying to increase the security of my system by now forcing ufw.

When following a guide on github UFW killswitch guide , I followed most of the instructions to the letter. One of the complications came around eddie-ui and its authentication / reauthentication outside of tun1.
I typically use nahn to make things simplest, and I tried to find the IP addy of nahn so that I could enable that in in ufw. Apparently, that is *not* the authentication server.

So, my Q is this:
How do I make an eddie-ui allow setting in ufw, or what IP addy's and port ranges [for authentication and nahn connection] must I enable to fully allow eddie-ui to connect, and the rest of traffic specifically only through tun1 / eddie-ui connection.

Thank you!

Sorry about that. I must not have used the forum search option; I had just went through the first couple pages of the how-to forum and the troubleshooting one and got frustrated!
Is that image in the topic containing the IP addy's that I need to add to my ufw for AirVPN's authentication? I didn't see any specific examples in the thread, itself.

Thanks again,
