Deleted VPN device. Lost all control

Recommended Posts

I deleted the device I first created years ago. Then, all went havoc. Now, other devices, including router WireGuard connection based on another device, are not workingl. All port checks say "no port open".

I don't know what happened? How can I get the control of my AirVPN back?

Thank you for your help.

Check if the forwarded port is forwarded for all devices. If it is, remove and readd the forwarded port, selecting the correct device or all.

Interesting point.

Yes, exactly. Forwarded port was forwarded for all devices. I removed and re-add and select correct device as per your advice.

But, still, I don't understand this. Why deleting one of the Devices in my client area caused disconnection of PCs/Routers using other Devices in the client area? What is the relation?

Please shed some light.

One can certainly check in the backend why it behaves like it does. Though, it could be a one-time thing; no need to assume it's always happening the way you observed.

so you went to client area > devices .  and deleted the device there?
that is how you generate your private keys for the service and connection..   you will have to log out of Eddie and have it regenerated.    for the router I would created a separate device.   then use the client generator and re add it with those newly generated keys
