Eddie Error - Unable to Obtain Elevated Prvileges: Unable to start (already exit) - Ubuntu

I'm using KDE Neon 6.0.3. Uses the Ubuntu 22 LTS base. This issue started to happen only recently. After about 5 attempts of entering my root password to bypass this, it works, for whatever reason. Any idea what the problem is? I know I am correctly entering my password, so I don't know why after a number of attempts it finally lets me in.

The issue appears to be my OS, currently KDE Neon 6.0.4, because I have the exact same problem with other applications requesting elevated privileges.
