Eddie hangs detecting Exit IP while using a custom provider (WireGuard)

Hello,

i am experiencing a problem while using a custom VPN provider (WireGuard). I can connect, but Eddie (2.23.1) kind of hangs on MacOS while trying to Detect the Exit IP. 

I already tried to disable DNS and tunnel checks in the settings.

Any suggestions on how to fix this?
