Have you tried turning it off and on again?
Actually, don't just turn it off; reboot instead.

On August 7 Russian authorities introduced DPI ban over both OpenVPN and FireWire protocols.

Unlike China defaults like OpenVPN-TCP-443 won't work. Changing servers is useles too. So this is topic might be better moved to the general troubleshooting topic.

FireWire, or Wireguard? :)

In any case, use OpenVPN over SSH or SSL to verify.

Thanks for the answers! I've tried everything possible with the advice from the forum. I have rebooted the computer several times. Nothing helped. But this morning everything is working again. Any advice on SSH and SSL for verification, how should I do it so I don't panic next time? Thanks!!!

Wireguard doesn't work, no matter the port: 1637 or 47107; no matter the app - tried the native Wierguard from f-droid and Eddie as well.
As for OpenVPN - I've tried all the possible 42 configs from the Config Generator page, neither have worked. Although I haven't changed the default advanced settings (like resolved hosts or OpenVPN profile etc).
OpenVPN over SSH works alright but it's slow and seems unstable.
I haven't checked out OpenVPN over SSL, seems like a giant pain in the ass to setup tbh.

You are using Eddie, right? You don't have to setup anything. Simply select SSL as the protocol.

Yeah, forgot to mention the fact - AirVPN works flawlessly on PC, the aforementioned dpi block only concerns the mobile traffic as of now.
Is there some SSL option available in Eddie on Android that I'm missing?
I don't see any easy and convenient way to implement OpenVPN over SSL on Android, just this guide - https://airvpn.org/forums/topic/24349-how-to-airvpn-via-sslstunnel-on-android-678/

No, SSH and SSL are not an (easy) option on Android, sorry. The thread you linked is, as far as I remember, the latest way to set this up.
