ANSWERED Connection refused (111)

Recommended Posts

Hello everyone. I just subscribed with AirVPN to establish a secure connection between qBitTorrent (ver 4.5.4) and the trackers I use. qBitTorrent is installed on a Synology NAS (DSM 7.2 in docker).

- I created a new device (DS220)
- I requested port forwarding (TCP & UDP. IPv4 only)
- I generated my ovpn file (Linux, OpenVPN UDP 443, Device DS220, USA server)
- I created a network connection (Use default gateway, reconnect when VPN lost)
- I changed the port in qBitTorrent to match the port given by AirVPN

Despite all this, if I test my port on the AirVPN client interface, I get the message ''Connection refused (111)''.

On this site (ipleak.net) when i ask for torrent adresse detection, i received the good IP adress and the good port number.
On the site (https://portchecker.co/checking) , when i checked the IPadress and port, i received ''The port XXXXX is closed''

What's wrong?

Thank you for your help !

I have found my trouble. The port number in the docker's parametres is not good. I've changed for my AirVPN's port number, and all is functionnal.
