Shrav21 0 Posted ... Does anyone know how to get this to work? I want to be able to route *.<my-ddns-name>.airdns.org:<open_port> to my <vpn_ip>:<local_port> and then route that to the correct service in my reverse proxy Quote Share this post Link to post
OpenSourcerer 1435 Posted ... @Shrav21 I split your post from another thread into your own. Please open your own threads for your own issues in the future. To accomplish what you want, simply forward a random port and enter the DDNS name and local port into their respective fields in the GUI. The routing after that depends on your setup. Shrav21 0 Posted ... so say i have 2 services i want to be able to access through the vpn - service1 and service2 are you saying the best way is to forward 2 ports one for each service? and then set the ddns to service1.<my-ddns-name>.airdns.org and service2.<my-ddns-name>.airdns.org respectively? OpenSourcerer 1435 Posted ... Ah, I see, there was a wildcard before the DDNS name. No, that is not possible. Forward two ports with two DDNS names in that case. Also please provide your intentions right away. It wasn't clear you wanted to forward ports for two separate services.
