Public name display in statistics

Hello,

I recently enabled the option to display my username in the public statistics, and I'm concerned about the impact on my privacy. I would like to know if this could potentially allow others to make inferences about me. Any insights or advice on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Do you plan on staying connected for months? Or transfer multiple TiB of data in one session? Or consistently reaching ~200+ Mbit/s throughput? If no, you'll probably never even be shown there.

I’m working on the stability of my system but once it’s done yeah I will stay connected for months and I will also transfer a lot.

Then it's as simple as not enabling the public display to dispel any feelings of concern. What was the reason you enabled it?

I see. Well, it's up to you. But I don't see how this info can be used to somehow ID you.
