Upload speed?

Just wondering if there is a cap for the upload speed on the canadian servers?

No limits are applied on any server.
Per the front page:

If you're encountering slow speeds, I encourage you to try using WireGuard. I find it to be significantly faster than OpenVPN.

Currently I am using Wireguard config on gluetun container qbit.
The speeds vary widely and fluctuates drastically. But I can't seem to get more than 5mbit consistently. Wondering if that's normal

OpenVPN/TCP/443 is the same or even worse? Worth a test.

With WireGuard, maybe if you shrink MTU you get improvements, although it's all on the MTU size of the container (para)virtualized interface. Write the line
MTU = 1280
anywhere in [Interface] related options.

If you use WiFi, try and switch to Ethernet if it's an option. If it's not, change the channel of your WiFi router. Wild fluctuations and poor performance in my experience are sometimes a feature of a WiFi connection with interference in the same frequency range.

I'm currently using this in container via Gluetun. I'M not sure if that container allows you to modify the wireguard settings. I will try openvpn
