whiskey_76 6 Posted ... I have a desktop pc that others in the household may sometimes use, but not very often. On my user account I prefer to have Eddie set to activate upon startup and network lock is set to automatically turn on as well. The few times others users have asked to use the computer i've noticed their accounts can't access the internet. My main theory was that the network lock was somehow still active, or activated for them even though Eddie never visibly launches. on their account (from turning the pc on, not even with my account already logged in). When I went back into my account and turned off running Eddie at start up, the other users can use the internet no problem without the VPN. Is there anyway I can still have it set to activate when only I login and have the network lock not mess up the other users? I don't see why it would keep someone from using the internet when they log into their account first and I am not even logged onto the machine. This is on a windows 10 machine as well. Thanks for any insight! Quote Share this post Link to post

I think the culprit is Fast Startup, as usual. You are not shutting down Windows, you're suspending it, therefore Eddie still runs in your user context. Rebooting helps, but so does simply not suspending the PC. Quote Hide OpenSourcerer's signature Hide all signatures NOT AN AIRVPN TEAM MEMBER. USE TICKETS FOR PROFESSIONAL SUPPORT.
